Are you a prequel fan and gettin' tired of all the haters? I stumbled upon this article over at IHOG titled, "The Top Ten Positive Points to the Star Wars Prequels". It's a good read. I am not afraid to admit that I love the prequels. Give it a read and let us know what you think!

My husband is a surfer who loves Star Wars and our new favorite blog to follow is The Surfing Trooper. We came upon a vintage Stormtrooper helment in my in-laws recent move, and my hubby will be donning the helmet on his next surf adventure to hopefully add to the collection. Check it out...and if you surf too...grab your helmet and camera and add some of your own!

HowStuffWorks, have put together a very interesting and helpful article, for those of you interested in learning "how these remarkable weapons work".
Important Safety Information
A lightsaber is not a toy! Keep it out of reach of children at all times. Lightsaber locks are required in most states. There are two ends to any lightsaber -- one end has the belt ring, while the other end houses the blade arc tip and blade emitter. NEVER point the blade emitter of a lightsaber toward your own body. NEVER look down the "barrel" of a lightsaber, even if you are "sure" it is in safe mode. If you accidentally activate the lightsaber, serious injury could result.

Do you subscribe to Star Wars Insider? We have been for getting it for quite some time and LOVE it! Starting with this issue, they have begun "an ongoing series of features looking at different and diverse aspects of the saga. Han shot first (from a certain point of view), so it's only fair that he's the first in the series!"
But if Han Solo is not your thing (whatever.....), here are some other highlights from this month's issue:
- A profile of Han Solo kicks off this 100-page issue - we investigate the ongoing love affair with Star Wars' greatest scoundrel, and explain why Han is still the man!
- An Star Tours exclusive - the making of the ride of a lifetime. Plus, Anthony Daniels explains why the ride has put Threepio back in action
- Author Timothy Zahn on the Expanded Universe, the latest books and comics under the spotlight, plus an exclusive extract from the forthcoming novel, The Old Republic: Revan!
- The incredible true story behind the making of the Star Wars radio drama, 'My Star Wars with artist Greg Hildebrandt, plus much more
If you are not a subscriber, I suggest you become one! You can subscribe on-line at titanmagazines.com. Or, you can always pick up the latest issue at your favorite book store or magazine stand! Enjoy!

This AP article published today is a fun article for those of you who have an interest in Star Wars travel. My family and I traveled to San Francisco back in 2009 and visited this "Mecca". It truly was the highlight of our trip. We want to be able to visit other sites as well, and this article shares some info on those too! It's a fun read...where would you like to go?

Hasbro has launched a new and fun promotion for kids ages 6-17, although I have been having a pretty good time myself playing around with it! As of August 1st, you can head on over to jointhejedi.com for some Clone Wars activities and prizes. You can learn all about the Ultimate FX Lightsabers and even create and download your own Jedi Image (see below-my daughter as Ahsoka).
One of the coolest things about this site, is that you can make a video of your best Jedi Lightsaber moves and upload them to see if your moves will get chosen to use in Season 5. You can also enter daily for a chance to win an Ultimate FX lightsaber. And last, but not least, if you are a Star Wars The Clone Wars Adventures player, you can get yourself an exclusive virtual lightsaber.
Check it out!
